Charming pieces from the Edwardian era, ca 1910s. The centrepiece of each trefoil is formed of a cabochon ruby, each of 8 points. The diamonds, all old-cuts, form glittering trefoil leaves, 60 points in all. Two large pearls depend, pear-shaped, of nacreous lustre, 9.5mm each in diameter. Crafted in 18kt yellow gold. A rich, yet understated, piece: you can see the craftsmanship in the rope-edge design to the leaves. Very pretty.
