Vintage Smokey Topaz Brooch, ca 1940s

A fine vintage piece. The stone alone is 20mm long; the brooch measures 7cm wide. We estimate the topaz, of a lovely smokey hue, emerald or step-cut, to be 18.50 carat. It is displayed in a six split-claw setting, with a pierced gallery below. Crafted in 18kt yellow gold.
