- 18kt yellow gold, 18kt white gold

A double-banded shank in bright yellow-gold culminates at each end in two white-gold hoops. These hoops encase a white-gold head whose diamond-shaped collet reveals a – well – a diamond, of course. Because here we are, straight back bang in the ‘Fifties, and one glimpse of this ring and we’re talking big bumpers and Chevrolet tails and it’s all Marilyn Monroe. We’re also talking fifty points of round-cut brilliant diamond. And the gold, yellow and white, is a smooth 18kt. Odd that something so typical of an era could also be so individual. A vintage 1950s ring.
