An intriguing ring in the Art Deco style of ca 1920s. The centrepiece is a round brilliant diamond, hand-cut in the traditional manner, collet-set with four-clawed securement. What intrigues is the partial halo: a multitude of lustrous baguette-cut diamonds channel-set within a meandrous but fluent line. This line culminates in a glittering pavé wing, representative perhaps of Mercury, the Winged Messenger. The ring is crafted in 18kt white gold.
