Eight-Clawed Rex-Set Diamond Ring, with diamond-set shoulders

The centrepiece here is a round brilliant-cut diamond of forty points in weight. It is rex-set with eight rounding claws, with the effect of a crown or coronet. The shoulders are set with six smaller round brilliant diamonds, weighing four points apiece, three per side, each individually claw-set, with a combined weight of 24 points. This brings the totsl diamond weight to sixty-four points, nearly two-thirds of a carat. The ring is crafted in a sheeny 18kt white gold.
