Ruby and Diamond Halo Engagement Ring

The centrepiece is an oval-cut ruby, of 1.80 carat, set in a decorative fourteen-clawed mount in a basket cradle. Fourteen round diamonds form a halo surround. These diamonds have a combined weight of 75 points. The shoulders terminate in fluted hoops, the shank likewise fluted, and the head is fashioned in an intricate open-work. The ring is crafted in platinum.
