Ruby and Diamond Three-Tier Cluster Ring

A modern ring in the elegant Art Deco style, featuring three tiers of glittering stones. The centrepiece is a faceted oval-cut ruby, of 70 points in weight, rubover set. In colour it is what connoisseurs term “pigeon-blood red”. Sixteen round brilliant diamonds form the first surround, pavé-set in a millegrained channel, of forty-eight points combined, just a tad under half a carat. The third tier is formed of princess-cut rubies, channel-set, alternating with further round brilliant diamonds, again pavé-set. This brings in a further 24 points of diamond, and the same of ruby. 15 points of shoulder diamonds bring the total diamond weight to 87 points. Crafted in 18kt white gold, with millegrain detail throughout.
